1127-8 Roubloff Brushes. Kolinsky Sable - Flat #8, Long Handle.

Kolinsky Sable Flat Brush #8

This flat, short-length kolinsky brush is suitable for a variety of painting techniques. The long, matte-finish handle is securely attached to the bristles with an anodized aluminum ferrule. The brush’s rectangular shape allows for two-way use: using the tip for contours and short strokes, or the entire brush head for applying stripes of uniform color. Filling the bristles with different colors allows for a two-tone wash. This brush is ideal for depicting architectural structures, vehicles, and linear compositions. It is suitable for working with watercolor, gouache, and oil paints.
