Similar in color to Ultramarine Red but with different properties, this non-granulating and non-staining color paints smoothly and lifts easily. Wonderful for painting orchids and other florals.

Starting with 10 parts water to 1 part paint (by weight) in the palette, our chemist paints the top half of the swatch uniformly with a round brush to show the paint’s color and characteristics. For the bottom half, he dips a ¾” flat brush into the paint well just once, then applies the color in stripes until the brush is dry, which shows the color’s tone and behavior through a wash. We use these swatches for color matching during the manufacturing process.

Pigment: PW 6, PR 122 | Series: 2
Lightfastness: II – Very Good
Transparency: Semi-Transparent
Staining: 1-Non-Staining
Granulation: Non-Granulating

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0840/2662/2125/files/1468fa8f-Daniel-Smith-Half-Pan-S2-Wisteria.jpg?v=1791678639
https://www.paletteartsupplies.com/products/daniel-smith-extra-fine-watrecolors-1-8ml-half-pan-wisteria-series-2
